Yesterday we lost half the team to full national team duty. They have camp in Sweden and will face the US while there. Today we lose another two players to U-20 national team duty. They will also face the US in a match being played this weekend in Osaka. It’s less than thirty minutes away by bullet train, and Bev, OT, and I are thinking about making the trip to see the game and one of Japan’s biggest cities.
Reduced numbers at practice and two weeks until our next game, things get a bit silly at practice during the break between double sessions!
